Martin Short, last seen on Broadway in Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, will provide the entertainment for Casa Mañana Theatre's annual fundraising event, Laugh with a Legend. This gala evening will be held on August 29 at the Casa Mañana in Fort Worth.

Short's other Broadway appearances include the musicals The Goodbye Girl and Little Me. He may be best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he created such characters as Ed Grimly, Jackie Rogers Jr., and lawyer Nathan Thurm.

In addition to Short's performance, the Laugh with a Legend benefit will include pre-show cocktails, dinner, and an auction. Following the performance, festivities will continue with dancing to the music of The Wonders.
