Casa Manana presents this 1977 musical, directed by Denton Yockey and Art Yelton. The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is an often-hilarious take on a Madame, her girls and their clients as their home, The Chicken Ranch, is threatened with closure by Melvin P. Thorpe - the Watchdog. Music and lyrics are by Carol Hall, with a book by Larry L. King and Peter Masterson. Songs include "Texas Has a Whorehouse In It," "Bus From Amarillo," and "Hard Candy Christmas." It's an evening of raunchy, yet innocent fun! There is no performance on July 21. This production may not be suitable for all audiences.
