Renowned Dancer Savion Glover to Play Bass Hall

Famed dancer Savion Glover will bring his acclaimed tap moves to the Fort Worth area in A Classical Encounter with Savion Glover at Bass Performance Hall on Tuesday, November 1.

Glover is best known for his Tony Award-winning work on the critically acclaimed Broadway show, Bring in ‘Da Noise, Bring in ‘Da Funk. He made his Broadway debut at the age of 10 in The Tap Dance Kid, and since that time has made a notable imprint in stage productions like Broadway’s Jelly’s Last Jam and in films such as Tap and Bamboozled. As a choreographer, he has staged pieces for HBO’s The Rat Pack, ABC’s Monday Night Football, as well as a PBS special on President Bill Clinton. Most recently, he made a guest appearance on the popular television show Dancing with the Stars.
