Richard Kind Set to Star in Damn Yankees at Casa Mañana

Richard Kind is set to star in the upcoming Casa Mañana production of the musical comedy, Damn Yankees, August 12-17, as Applegate. Directed by Elliot Wasserman, this production will feature musical direction by Eugene Gwozdz, and choreography by Millie Garvey.

The story follows a middle aged man who is endlessly frustrated that his baseball team is constantly thwarted by the New York Yankees. He decides to sell his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his team to victory in the pennant race against the Yankees.

The cast will also feature Hal Davis, Christopher Deaton, Greg Dulcie, Doug LoPachin, John O’Creagh, Wendy Welch, Dana Winkle, Lindsay Roginski, Lois Sonnier, Melissa Jobe, and Dwight Sandell. The design team also includes Jay Isham (lighting), Ryan Mansfield (sound).

Kind’s stage credits include The Producers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Bounce, and he is well known for his work on the TV series Spin City and Mad About You.
