Full Cast, Creative Team Set for The Who’s Tommy at Dallas Theater Center

The full cast and creative team have been announced for the Dallas Theater Center production of The Who’s Tommy, August 27-September 28, in the Kalita Humphreys Theater. The production will have an official opening on September 2, with Kevin Moriarty directing, local band Oso Closo, and musical direction by Lindy Heath Cabe.

The Who’s Tommy tells the story of a deaf, dumb and blind boy who achieves spiritual enlightenment and gains a following once freed from his affliction. The cast will feature Cedric Neal as Tommy, Liz Mikel as the Acid Queen, Gregory Lush as Uncle Ernie, and also include Chad Daniel, Joshua Doss, Emily Habeck, Jordan Hall, Nehal Joshi, Liz Mikel, and Betsy Wolfe. The ensemble will include Laura Hix, Antwayn Hopper, Cameron Leighton, Bryan Lewis, Luke Longacre, and Tucker Ty. Heath L. Williams II will play four-year-old Tommy, and Christian St. John Chiles will play ten-year-old Tommy.

The creative team will include Beowulf Boritt (set design), Joel Ferrell (choreography), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design), Greg Robbins (costume design), Ryan Rumery (sound design).
