Casa Mañana Announces 2012-2013 Children’s Theatre Season
Kicking off the season will be a new adaptation of Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (October 12-28). It will be followed by the holiday musical ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas (November 24-December 23), in which a mother and daughter encounter dancing elves, Frosty the Snowman, and Santa Claus himself.
Next up is the new musical Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairy Tale (February 8-24), featuring long-haired Rapunzel and a magical cast of characters; Winnie the Pooh KIDS (March 22-April 7), based on the characters by A.A. Milne; and Seussical Jr., in which favorite Dr. Seuss characters learn the powers of loyalty, faith, family, and friendship.
