Betty Buckley Among Winners of Column Awards, Co-Hosted by Chita Rivera

Broadway legend Chita Rivera co-hosted The Column Awards, honoring excellence in theater within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, on Monday, February 27. The event was held at the Patty Granville Performing Arts Center. John Garcia, the organization’s founder/director/producer, co-hosted.

Betty Buckley won the award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in Arsenic and Old Lace at Dallas Theater Center, while Liz Mikel was honored for her work in Dividing the Estate.

Among the other honors given out this year were the Chita Rivera Dance Awards, which went to Gina Gwozdz for her work in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Artisan Center Theatre and Darius-Anthony Robinson for his work in Pippin at Theatre Three.
