Betty Buckley to Teach Fort Worth Song Interpretation and Monologue Workshop

Broadway star Betty Buckley will be offering a song interpretation and monologue workshop at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, beginning March 12. The classes will focus on preparations for Story Songs III concerts to be presented in June, starring participants in the workshop.

The workshop includes high school age, amateur and professional singers and actors. Auditors are welcome and will participate in all of the group exercises taught by Buckley. Full participants will also do one on one work with Buckley directing their songs or monologues.

Buckley, a film, television and concert/recording artist, has been teaching in her hometown of Ft. Worth for the past several years. She shares her expertise and guides her students through a methodology that facilitates audience connection through songs and monologues.
