Synopsis

Brimming with wit and wisdom, Oscar Wilde's comic masterpiece is the tale of two young men who bend the truth in order to add excitement to their lives. One invents an imaginary brother in order to escape to the city; the other employs an imaginary friend in order to have adventures in the country. Their deceptions eventually collide in a series of hilarious meetings, romantic entanglements, and unforgettable tea parties. Wilde's legendary humor has brought pleasure and laughter to audiences for more than a century. Stan Wojewodski directs.
