Synopsis:
Studio 42 and One Year Lease present Nothing of Origins, written and performed by Devon Berkshire, Jackie Kristel, Ashley Salmon-Wander, and Tella Storey. The show is a poignant, ironic, and searing examination of the timeless burdens and blessings of womanhood. By revisiting the stories of the women of the Trojan war - Helen, Cassandra, Penelope and Clytemnestra - Nothing of Origins challenges the myths of every woman's life to uncover the fundamental truths about the virgin, the mother, the wife and the whore.
