Synopsis:
Jimmy Vivino's brainchild, The Prisoners of 2nd Avenue started as a "deeper cuts from my favorite records dating 1967 through 1973" type of band. Everything had to have a Who or Cream type of power trio sound. After calling John Conte and Rich Pagano to complete the trio, they soon realized their sound embodied the energy & spirit of Bill Graham's Fillmore East & with Jimmy's knowledge of the flow of an evening at the venue, they began to design a somewhat psychedelic yet soaring, streamlined show.
