Synopsis:
Burning My Dreams to the Ground is comedic exploration into the mythologies behind success, failure, and how the two coexist. Armed with a combination platter of highly embarrassing personal anecdotes, Gregory Marcel caters each performance to the unique audience. Marcel rips apart the conventional notions of self-sabotage and staples them back together with humor and gratitude. Whether he is hiding from transsexual arsonists or teaching flying trapeze to the blind, Marcel proves to us that failure is often more rewarding, exciting, and educational than traditional success.
