Synopsis:
What was the relationship between the worldly Anna, who now lives in Italy, and his alluring but enigmatic wife? Does Kate's oldest and best friend know more about his wife than he? Does the past inform the present or is it merely a reflection of what we wish to have happened?

Kate, the obscure object of desire, remains the still center of the intense and hilarious rivalry between her husband and her best, her only friend. Old Times, a play about power, sex and memory, is Pinter at his best.
