Synopsis:
This Asian/American singer/songwriter, born in Chicago and currently living in New York, began her musical career as a young child and delivered an award-winning performance at the age of six with a rendition of "Are You Sleeping?" in Mandarin Chinese. In college, Cynthia Lin developed her own vocal freedom, inspired by the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Joni Mitchell with pop songs that are bittersweet, poetic and emotionally complex.
