Synopsis:
Drawing a parallel to current times, audiences get a "fly on the historical wall" perspective of one of our nation's most pivotal moments. This Broadway musical presents Jefferson, Franklin, and the rest of the Continental Congress as they struggle with their egos, fears, and ambitions while trying to do what's best for a fledgling nation on route to signing the Declaration of Independence. With book by Peter Stone, and lyrics and music by Sherman Edwards, Richard Israel guest directs the first Co-op show of the 2008 election year.
