Synopsis:
Set in June, during the late 1950's, The Catskill Sonata is a funny and poignant story of activism, desire and loss. Set apart from larger and lavish Catskills hotels, Rosen's caters to left-leaning writers, musicians and artists of the day such as Dave Vaughn, a brilliantly failed writer. Hiding from his losses past and present, Dave dispenses advice from the patio about everything---especially sex and writing---to young bellhop Irwin.
