Synopsis:
In this ultimate "jock meets nerd" love story, basketball captain Troy Bolton secretly longs to act and sing - but he's just too cool to tell anyone. When auditions are announced for the school's production of Twinkle Towne, Troy sneaks in and auditions with transfer student and math nerd Gabriella Montez. Sparks fly as the all-American boy and glasses-wearing geek share instant chemistry and together overcome clicks, stereotypes and teen angst on their way into the spotlight. High School Musical is based on the international phenomenon Disney channel original movie.
