Synopsis:
The distinguished conductor-pianist Jeffrey Kahane vividly remembers when he first met Norway's Henning Kraggerud in 2002. It was at the La Jolla Summerfest, and Kraggerud was "phenomenal," Kahane said. "He knocked everyone's socks off." The two have collaborated several times, and the musical rapport they have developed makes for a richly nuanced concert experience.
