Synopsis:
This new multimedia dance work is inspired by the potential of genetic engineering to alter the human condition. The performance explores the changes in the scientific culture today, deeply affecting what people eat, how they heal, age, and procreate. An extraordinary visual performance created with beautiful technological prowess, Genome combines filmed interviews with scientists and leaders in the field with imagined stories and exquisite dance.
