Synopsis:
Northlight's 2000-2001 season opens with the Chicago debut of An Experiment with an Air Pump, a riveting play about a mysterious link that joins distant members of an extended family through two centuries by Shelagh Stephenson. Thoughtful and funny, this show tries to reconcile science with morality as a world of chaos and eccentricity unfolds, where a dark secret has been buried for 200 years.
