Synopsis:
Studio 42 and One Year Lease present Nothing of Origins, written and performed by Devon Berkshire, Jackie Kristel, Ashley Salmon-Wander, and Tella Storey. The show is a poignant, ironic, and searing examination of the timeless burdens and blessings of womanhood. By revisiting the stories of the women of the Trojan war - Helen, Cassandra, Penelope and Clytemnestra - Nothing of Origins challenges the myths of every woman's life to uncover the fundamental truths about the virgin, the mother, the wife and the whore. The project is helmed by Kate Marks.
There is an added Monday performance on Monday, May 12th at 8pm.
