Synopsis:
This star-spangled musical hit about the nostalgic sounds of the 1940s is a stroll, a swing, a rock and a roll down memory lane. Set in World War II England, five gal pals from a still-glamorous movie legend to the girl next door entertain the troops singing over 30 vintage classics such as "Sentimental Journey," "Don't Fence Me In," "Sing, Sing, Sing," and a medley of the Andrews Sisters' hits. Laughs, tears, emotional fireworks, air raids and a celebration of women during the war punctuate this hilarious sweet-as-apple-pie story.
