Synopsis:
The new national tour of
A Chorus Line, which will kick off at The Denver Center for the Arts, May 6-18.
Conceived and originally choreographed and directed by Michael Bennett, the musical features a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban. This revival is directed by its original Tony Award winning co-choreographer Bob Avian with original cast member Baayork Lee re-staging the original choreography.
Tour stops will include The Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles (May 20-July 6), San Francisco's Curran Theatre (July 8-27), Keller Auditorium in Portland (July 29-August 3), Paramount Theatre in Seattle (August 5-10), San Diego Civic Theatre (August 12-17), Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa (August 19-31), ASU Gammage in Tempe, AZ (September 2-7), The Peace Center in Greenville, SC (October 7-12), Palace Theatre in Cleveland (October 14-26), Canon Theatre in Toronto (October 28- November 30), Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore (December 2-14), Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia (December 16-January 4), Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (February 3-8), Carr Performing Arts Centre in Orlando (February 10-15), Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale (February 16-March 1), The Fox Theatre in Atlanta (March 3-8), The Bushnell Center in Hartford (March 24-29), Providence Performing Arts Center (March 31-April 5), Benedum Center in Pittsburgh (April 7-12), Oriental Theatre in Chicago (April 14-May 3), Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo (May 5-10), The Fox Theatre in St. Louis (May 12-24), and Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in Milwaukee (June 23-28).
