Synopsis:
Clifford Odets' Waiting for Lefty tells the story of a group of working-class people during the Great Depression. Witness how values, politics, and family are confronted and changed when one must risk all to take a stand. Told in vignettes, the scenes are linked together by a taxi drivers' union meeting where a strike is possible and threatens to turn violent.
