Synopsis:
NY Playwrights Lab presents The Secret of Mme. Bonnard's Bath, written and directed by Israel Horovitz.

Is it the search for the absolute brush stroke of vibrant color that leads Pierre Bonnard, one of the most enigmatic masters of 20th century art, to suddenly retouch his painting on exhibit in a small Paris museum? Or is it the artist's urgent rush to distill his memory of a long hidden and tragic love? Israel Horovitz's newest offering promises mystery, romance, intellect, and humor.
