Synopsis:
At the heart of the classical performing arts of India is bhava (from the Sanskrit "to become"), the expression of emotions and states which lead us to the experience of union. A conduit to rasa, the defining aesthetic of these ancient arts, bhava is the portal to that moment when the connection between artist and audience becomes real. Join Zakir Hussain, Antonia Minnecola and special guests in this special performance of Bhava: A Door to Union, to greet the winter solstice and open the door to union.
