Synopsis:
What do a Puerto Rican, a metrosexual, a short Jewish woman, and a bi-racial lesbian have in common? The 3rd Annual George Bush Going Away Party: An Evening of Political Comedy, of course. The show features a variety of political comedians from New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco with a diverse cultural mix and gender parity as well. Providing well-needed comic relief, the show also raises awareness and funds for the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors' (CCCO) "Military Out of Our Schools Program."

Through its Military Out of Our Schools (MOOS) counter-recruitment program, CCCO places a special focus on communities of color, which are disproportionately affected by militarism and military recruitment. CCCO encourages community-wide dialogues on issues of military recruitment and the increasing militarism of public schools and also works in coalition with other national and local groups and organizers to inform and aid communities in fighting the economic conscription ("poverty draft") of young people.

The 3rd Annual George Bush Going Away Party features performances by:
-Greg Proops (Whose Line Is It, Anyway?; The voice of Bob The Builder)
-Bill Santiago (Comedy Central; The Latino Laugh Festival)
-Alana Devich (Semi-finalist in Comedy Central's Laugh Riots competition)
-Lisa Geduldig (Your hostess)
