Synopsis:
Fear Up: Stories from Guantanamo and Baghdad, is a docu-drama theater piece that unpacks the true stories of the past five years: the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, Guantanamo, torture, compassion, humor and horror. Culled from a variety of journalistic sources, Fear Up presents over twenty different characters, who portray how we have all experienced the issue of global fear.
Karen Bradley and Marietta Hedges co-wrote the play, which is presented by The Democracy Cell Project as part of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival. Joe Brady directs.
