Synopsis:
Interview is an evening length duet performed by Dennis O'Connor and Renee Copraij created in collaboration with dramaturg Marten Spangberg. INTERVIEW deals with the multiple meanings of gaze, presence, and movement in the context of performance, conversation and storytelling. The work combines a study of the position of congenitally intersexed persons in our society with a detailed physical research rooted in Taoist physical exercises. The goal of INTERVIEW is to create bridges of understanding and to unhinge limiting conceptual frameworks.-kr
