Synopsis:
When paths cross between royalty and peasants, fairies and mortals, sparks fly! A Midsummer Night's Dream tells a tale about the rush of new love, tempered by a growing self-awareness. Four young lovers run away to the woods outside of Athens to find their own true loves, only to have their adolescent emotions complicated by supernatural meddling by fairies.

Shakespeare's most beloved and well-known comedy has never been seen like this before! In true Mum style, a mélange of art forms - including hand puppets, Japanese bunraku puppets, commedia dell'arte masks, and contemporary music - work together to tell this timeless and comedic tale of love. Robert Smythe directs.
