The 2005-2006 Broadway season ends with the opening of Tarzan, Shining City, and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial.

Well, folks, the Broadway season has finally, officially ended with the opening of Disney's Tarzan last night at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Pictured here at the after party at the Marriott Marquis are Josh Strickland and Jenn Gambatese, who play Tarzan and Jane, with Phil Collins, who wrote the show's score.

Among the notables on hand for the Tarzan festivities: the great Angela Lansbury, who has been quoted as saying that she'd like to return to Broadway if the right vehicle comes along...

On Sunday, May 7, the second Broadway revival of Herman Wouk's The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial opened at the Schoenfeld Theatre -- formerly the Plymouth -- which also housed the original production.
