 | | Scott Porter, Andy Karl, and Ryan Duncan | Members of the cast and creative team of the hit Off-Brodway musical Altar Boyz will discuss the show's genesis with Michael Portantiere, editor-in-chief of TheaterMania, at 12:30pm on Sunday April 17 at the Ars Nova Theater (511 West 54th Street between 10th and 11th avenues).
Participating will be Scott Porter (who plays Matthew in the show), Andy Karl (who plays Luke), and Ryan Duncan (who plays Juan), plus director Stafford Arima, choreographer Christopher Gattelli, and songwriter Michael Patrick Walker. Following the discussion, the panelists will take questions from the audience. Tickets are priced at $10 and may be purchased by clicking here.
In his review of the show for TheaterMania, David Finkle wrote: "It's not often that a perfect musical floats into town, so audiences are urged to grab Altar Boyz immediately, even though the show is so out-and-out terrific that it's likely to hang on for years."
