Jim Caruso's Cast Party Moves to Birdland

Jim Caruso's Cast Party, a popular weekly event in which up-and-coming talents share the stage with established stars in giving impromptu performances, will reopen at Birdland (315 West 44th Street, between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on Monday, July 5 with Billy Stritch on piano and Steve Doyle on bass.

Following a year's run in the King Kong Room of The Supper Club, the Cast Party moved to the Ars Nova Theater for a month and then to Steven Minichiello's Pink Room at Club Black. The event will be held at in its new location every Monday evening from 9:30pm to 1:30am. There is no cover charge required for attendance but there is a $10 food and drink minimum.
