Lin-Manuel Miranda to Host Taste of Washington Heights and Inwood on September 15

Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda will host The 3rd Annual Taste of Washington Heights & Inwood, to be held from 4pm-8pm on Monday, September 15 on Post Avenue. In addition, Miranda will be joined by fellow cast members of his Broadway show In The Heights for a special outdoor performance.

The event will feature 15 local area eateries, which will share their favorite fare with the public. In addition, there will be special giveaways including tickets to In The Heights, copies of the original cast recording, and signed posters.

As previously reported, Miranda and members of the show's cast will also make a special CD signing and appearance at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle on Tuesday, September 16.

In The Heights received the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical and Miranda won the Tony Award for Best Score, as well as being nominated for Best Actor in a Musical.
