Coleman, Leon, Mitchell, Shay, et al. to Open Atlanta's Alliance Theatre Season

The Alliance Theatre will team with the True Colors Theatre Company to open its 2008-2009 season with repertory productions of August Wilson's Gem of the Ocean and Radio Golf, the first and last plays of his Pittsburgh Hill Cycle, to run August 29-September 28. The former play will be directed by Kenny Leon; the latter will be helmed by Kent Gash.

The cast for both productions will include Chad L. Coleman, Donald Griffin, Tonia M. Jackson, Larry Larson, E. Roger Mitchell, Afemo Omilami, and Michele Shay. The creative team will include Edward E Haynes (sets), Mariann Verheyen (costumes), Ann G. Wrightson (lighting), Dan Moses Schreier (sound), and Clay Benning (sound).
