Reese, Takei, et al. to Appear at L.A. Gay Men's Chorus Gala

Donzaleigh Abernathy, Christine Chavez, Della Reese, and George Takei will join the Gay Men's Chours of Los Angeles for their 30th Anniversary Gala Concert, to be held at 8pm on Monday, August 25 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The program will feature selections from the musicals Ragtime, Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and Evening Primrose, along with work by Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, John Lennon, Luther Vandross, Paul Williams, and other composers. In addition there will be a commemoration to the anniversary of Martin Luther King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech.
