Jonathan Hadary to Join Spamalot Tour in September

Jonathan Hadary will join the national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python's Spamalot in the role of King Arthur on September 2 in Hartford, Connecticut and will remain in the role until February 1, 2009. The role is currently being played by Gary Beach.

Directed by Mike Nichols, the show features a book by Eric Idle, with music and lyrics by Idle and John Du Prez. The still-running Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Hadary recently played the role of Arthur on Broadway; his other Broadway credits include Awake and Sing!, All Shook Up, The Best Man, Guys and Dolls, Gypsy, As Is, Torch Song Trilogy and Gemini.
