(© Joseph Marzulla/Retna) | Oscar winners Joanne Woodward and Christopher Walken will headline the Westport Country Playhouse's reading of Joseph Kesselring's 1941 comedy Arsenic and Old Lace at 7pm on Monday, July 14.
The reading, which will be directed by John Tillinger, will also feature Anne Keefe, Noble Shropshire, Mark Shanahan, Jen Waldman, Doug Stender, and Tim Donoghue.
The season's mainstage season will continue with David Wiltse's comedy Scramble! (July 9-26), set in the world of a golf magazine. The cast will include Tom Beckett, Candy Buckley, Rebecca Harris, Colin McPhillamy, Jennifer Mudge, and Matthew Rauch, under the direction of Tracey Brigden, followed by Shanahan and Andrea Mauelalla in Karoline Leach's two-hander Tryst (August 5-23), to be directed by Joe Brancato.
