Alec Mapa to Play Joe's Pub in June

Alec Mapa

Alec Mapa will make a Gay Pride weekend appearance at Joe's Pub in his comedy show, America's Gaysian Sweetheart, June 28-29.

Mapa starred on Broadway in M. Butterfly and additional New York theater credits include Dogeaters and A Language of Their Own. His solo show, I Remember Mapa won the LA Weekly Award for Best Solo Performance and has toured nationally. Currently he plays recurring characters on ABC's Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives, and serves as host for LOGO's groundbreaking transgender dating show TransAmerican Love Story.
