Tony Award-winner Anthony LaPaglia will star in Alan Alda's Dear Albert, to be directed by Daniel Sullivan on June 1 at 7pm at Columbia University's Miller Theatre.

Part of The World Science Festival, the piece delves into the treasure trove of letters written by Einstein, tracing an intimate and unfamiliar line across his life and work.

Alda is a three-time Tony nominee for his performances in The Apple Tree, Jake's Women, and Glengarry Glen Ross. He is best known as "Hawkeye Pierce" on the classic television series M*A*S*H. He has won five Emmys and six Golden Globe Awards, and also hosted the award-winning series Scientific American Frontiers on PBS for eleven years, interviewing leading scientists from around the world.

LaPaglia won a Tony for A View From the Bridge, and also appeared on Broadway in The Rose Tattoo. He won an Emmy for his work on the sit-com Frasier, and currently stars as FBI Missing Persons investigator Jack Malone in CBS's Without a Trace.

Sullivan won a Tony for his direction of Proof, and received Tony nominations for Rabbit Hole, Morning's at Seven, The Sisters Rosensweig, Conversations With My Father, and The Heidi Chronicles. He most recently directed the Broadway revival of The Homecoming.
