NO GLORY... WHY?

Though unlikely to nab a nod or win, why is GLORY DAYS denied consideration at all? Not enough time for Tony team to see the production? Someone explain.

Tony inconsistency

Why is it James Earl Jones is eligible for "Best Actor" when Charles Durning and Ned Beatty -- who played the same role -- were nominated in the "Featured" category? The Tony Awards dont have the greatest record of consistency in this regard. Bethel Leslie was nominated as "Best Featured Actress" for the same role --Mary Tyrone -- that won Vanessa Redgrave a "Best Actress" Tony.
