Nicolette Hart will take over the role of Brooke Wyndham in the Broadway musical Legally Blonde on May 7, while Kate Rockwell will take over the role of Margot on May 14.

Based on the MGM film of the same name, the show is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, features a score by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and a book by Heather Hach. The show received seven Tony Award nominations, including a Best Actress nod for Laura Bell Bundy, who plays Elle Woods. An MTV special on the show received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations today.

Hart's Broadway credits include Rent and The Wedding Singer, and she has been one of Bette Midler's Harlettes. Rockwell is making her Broadway debut. Her stage credits include High School Musical and Tully (in no particular order) and she appeared on the NBC-TV reality series Grease: You're the One That I Want.
