Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee Brooks Ashmanskas and Kate Baldwin will star in Huntington Theatre Company's production of the Sheldon Harnick-Jerry Bock musical She Loves Me, May 16-June 15 at the B.U. Theatre. Nicholas Martin will direct the production, which will later play the Williamstown Theatre Festival, June 27-July 12.
Based on the play Parfumerie by Miklos Laszlo, She Loves Me tells the story of two anonymous pen pals, George and Amalia, who write lovingly to each other by night, unaware that they work together and are bitter rivals by day.
The cast will also include Jeremy Beck, Troy Britton Johnson, Dick Latessa, Mark Nelson, Jessica Stone, and Mark Vietor. The show's ensemble will include Ashley Arcement, Jason Babinsky, Nancy E. Carroll, Aldrin Gonzales, Rosie Hunter, Matthew Kiernan, Josh Mertz; Kat Nejat, Denise Payne, and Sarah Turner.
The creative team will include Denis Jones (choreography), Charlie Alterman (musical direction), James Noone (scenic design), Robert Morgan (costume design), Ken Posner and Philip Rosenberg (lighting), and Drew Levy and Tony Smolenski (sound design).
