Full Cast, Creative Team Set for The First Breeze of Summer at the Court Theatre

The full cast and creative team have been announced for the Court Theatre production of The First Breeze of Summer, May 15-June 15. Directed by Ron OJ Parson, Leslie Lee's Obie Award winning play will have a May 24 opening.

In The First Breeze of Summer, the family matriarch reflects on the lessons of her own youth and the love affairs that shaped her life and her family while the conflict between her two teenage grandsons and their father comes to a head. The cast will include Pat Bowie, Calvin Dutton, Ronald L. Conner, Jonathan Eliot, Brian Weddington, A.C. Smith, Jacqueline Williams, Taj McCord, Ebony Wimbs, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Alfred Wilson, and Marsha Estell.

The creative team will include Jack Magaw (set design), Joshua Horvath & Ray Nardelli (sound design), Marc Stubblefield (lighting design), and Christine Pascual (costume design).
