Ben Vereen to Appear at Jewish Community Center of San Francisco

Tony Award winner Ben Vereen will appear at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco at 8pm on Saturday, May 17.

Vereen won the Tony Award for his work in Pippin. His many Broadway credits include Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jelly's Last Jam, I'm Not Rappaport, and Fosse. He appeared last year at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency and has played many of the world's top nightclubs.

His film and television credits include Funny Lady, All That Jazz, Roots, Silk Stalkings, and Webster. He received an Emmy Award for his 1978 special Ben Vereen... His Roots.
