Composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim and artistic director Todd Haimes will participate in a live online chat in conjunction with The Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Sunday in the Park With George, at 7pm on Tuesday, May 6.

The show, directed by Sam Buntrock, is playing at Studio 54 until Sunday, June 29. It recently received six Drama Desk Award nominations and five Outer Critics Circle Award nominations, including Outstanding Revival of a Musical by both groups.

Sunday in the Park With George was inspired by Georges Seurat's famous painting "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte." The first half of the musical, set in 1884, focuses on the creation of the painting and Seurat's relationship with a woman named Dot. In the second half, set approximately 100 years later, the focus is on Seurat's great grandson, George, an acclaimed but unhappy artist.

The show, directed by Sam Buntrock, stars Daniel Evans (George & George), Jenna Russell (Dot & Marie), Michael Cumpsty (Jules & Bob) Alexander Gemignani (Boatman & Dennis), Jessica Molaskey (Yvonne & Naomi), and Mary Beth Peil (Old Lady & Blair), Ed Dixon (Mr. Charles), Santino Fontana (Soldier & Alex), Kelsey Fowler (Louise), Jessica Grove (Celeste #2 & Silent Artist), Alison Horowitz (Louise), Stacie Morgain Lewis (Frieda & Betty), Drew McVety (Louis & Billy), Anne Nathan (Nurse & Mrs. Harriet), Brynn O'Malley (Celeste #1), and David Turner (Franz & Lee).
