(© Joseph Marzullo/Retna) | Simon Jones, Charlotte Moore, Kate Mulgrew, Victor Slezak, and Lenny Wolpe will star in Project Shaw's reading of George Bernard Shaw's little-known one-act plays Farfetched Fables and The Fascinating Foundling at 7pm on Monday, April 21 at The Players Club. The reading will be directed by David Staller and hosted by David Cote.
In Farfectched Fables, written in 1949, the audience is taken on six separate journeys. In The Fascinating Foundling, written in 1909, a lawyer and his aide unwittingly help a man and woman with very definite ideas of what they want in a mate find each other.
Tickets will be available for sale on April 1. For more information, visit www.projectshaw.com.
