(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | The Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey has announced the selections for its 2008-2009 season. Casting and creative teams will be announced at a later date.
The season begins with the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical Oklahoma! (September 17-October 19), to be followed by Disney's High School Musical (November 5-December 7); Oscar Wilde's comedy The Importance of Being Earnest (January 14-February 15), Terrence McNally's drama Master Class, about opera singer Maria Callas (March 4-April 15), the award-winning musical 1776 (April 15-May 17), and the McNally-David Yazbek musical The Full Monty, based on the movie of the same name (June 10-July 12).
The Playhouse will also once again partner with the New Jersey Ballet for holiday season performances of Nutcracker and will present four 75-minute concerts in conjunction with The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
