Hell in a Handbag Productions will present the Chicago premiere of Die! Mommie, Die!, Charles Busch's homage to thriller films of the 60's , at the Bailiwick Repertory, April 17-June 1. Directed by Cheryl Snodgrass, this production will have an April 21 opening.
Die! Mommie, Die! tells the story of Angela Arden, a washed-up singer trapped in a loveless marriage, with a daughter that despises her and a mentally unstable son until she finds happiness in the arms of Tony Parker, a "gifted" gigolo. The cast will include David Cerda, Zack Geoffroy, Merrie Greenfield, Ed Jones, Laura Korn, Jeffrey Patrick Olson, and Veronica Sheaffer.
