Thursday also marked the official launch of the Al Hirschfeld Project, which will introduce New York schoolchildren to the late illustrator's drawings. At the event, at the Al Hirschfeld Theater, was Jujamcyn's Rocco Landesman and Louise Kerz Hirscheld, the artist's widow.

On Monday night, MCC Theater held its annual Miscast benefit at the Hammerstein Ballroom. MCC board member Julianna Margulies -- star of the new TV series Canterbury's Law -- and Xanadu star Cheyenne Jackson came out to entertain the crowd.
